About The Cotswolds
The Cotswolds – sometimes called the “heart of England” – is a beautiful rural constituency in the South West of England, over 65 miles long by 45 miles at the widest point.
Residents of the Cotswolds are politically represented by Cotswold District Council, Gloucestershire County Council and local parish & town councils.

Prominent towns include the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’ Cirencester, the market towns of Tetbury, Chipping Campden, Northleach, Moreton-in-Marsh & Stow-on-the-Wold
Other areas include the beautiful Cotswold Water Park – which includes the villages of South Cerney and Siddington – and 147 lakes created where old gravel quarries have become filled with water.
Bourton-on-the-Water is an iconic Cotswold village, popular with tourists from around the world. The Fosse Way Roman road runs nearby.
The source of the River Thames is located near to the towns of Fairford and Lechlade, from where you can travel to London – by water or on foot - uninterrupted
