Thames Head

Mike Willis stood as the Liberal Democrat candidate for the Thames Head ward in the CDC elections on May 5.

Mike has lived in Somerford Keynes for 21 years. He is married with one daughter and is a chartered engineer who leads a large team in a high-tech company in Cheltenham.

Active in his community,he organises events and fundraising for charity.

With the Thames Head ward covering parts of the Water Park area,he’s been very disturbed by the secret transfer of Keynes Country Park to Watermark and what we have learned subsequently and would like to see greater probity and transparency within CDC and the bodies it funds with council taxpayers’money.
