Along with Kevin Painter and Les Brown,Colin Horton and Caroline Morgan are also Liberal Democrat members of Tetbury Town Council.
Local resident,Colin Horton has been a Tetbury Town Councillor since October 2009 election.
A 39-year-old father of two young boys (aged 3 and 1),Colin is energetic and has always had a keen interest in local issues since moving to Tetbury nine years ago.
With previous experience as an Army Officer and currently working in the communications industry,Colin is able to offer an experienced and practical approach to local concerns.
He is particularly keen on youth related issues and wants to ensure Tetbury remains one of the best places for a child to grow up. He has just clinched a fantastic £50,000 in lottery funding to upgrade the play area at the Rec.
Colin is interested in most sports –he plays basket ball in a local league and “enjoys”Triathlons.
Caroline Morgan has been Mayor of Tetbury for the last year. She moved to Tetbury 1997 and taught at Stroud College until retiring in 2006. She has served on the Town Council for four years,one year as chairman of Heritage and Regeneration Committee and one year as Mayor of Tetbury. She has also been a trustee of the Raillands Trust for some years.
Caroline is particularly interested in the needs of the elderly and work one day a week at The Monday Club – a day centre in Tetbury –she also delivers Meals on Wheels around the town.
