Steve says,“I have lived in Tetbury all my life,and indeed feel fortunate to have grown up in a fantastic town with such a great community spirit. As a youth I went to local primary and secondary schools before travelling to Manchester to read History &Politics,and later a Masters in International Relations. I have since returned to live in Tetbury and to work locally.

I joined the Liberal Democrats as I believed that on a local level,they were the party who best represent the interests of,and listen to,the communities that elect them. In the Cotswolds and Tetbury I believe this involves attempting to maintain local services that are under threat,including our local police station and hospital beds,as well as provide new ones such as improved leisure facilities for Tetbury,new car parking in the centre of town,and where suitable,a new infrastructure and housing to allow the town to continue to grow at an appropriate rate.”
