Nigel Bass stood as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Moreton-in Marsh in the CDC elections on May 5,2011.
Nigel has lived in the Cotswolds for 8 years and has been a secondary school teacher for 20 years,specialising in languages. He feels passionately about people having access to the countryside and wants to ensure this is maintained and enhanced. As a teacher he sees the need to protect our library service in Moreton. He supports the energetic local campaign to keep Moreton’s library and believes the Tories have cut the library service too far.
He would like to see plastics recycling on the doorstep and feels strongly that car parking charges have risen too much and too fast,jeopardising the local economy and jobs.
