Watermoor

Gary Selwyn

Town and District councillor

I’ve lived in the Watermoor Ward of Cirencester for over 20 years, my children were at local schools and I am an active member of the Watermoor Community Group.

I work for a Children and Families Charity and we run childrens’ care homes.

The reason I got involved in local politics and stood for council in 2011 is because I feel there are some specific issues which are not being addressed by the Conservatives: graffiti, parking problems and poor access to amenities in the south of Watermoor ward especially.

To make a difference its really vital to be a part of and understand the local community, and how to work with and talk to the people you have the privilege to represent, and this is how I hope to be able to make a difference.

Jenny Hincks

Town and District councillor
I have lived in Watermoor for thirty five years bringing up two children (with two grandchildren in Cirencester) and thus have many contacts within the area.

I am a town and district councillor in Watermoor and have been (and remain) involved with the Watermoor Community Group, as well as being involved with volunteering in Cirencester all my life.

I was inspired to represent the Ward at Cotswold District Council by the many issues raised by the residents of Watermoor such as parking and litter, to name but a few, as well wanting to make a real difference to the social problems faced by Watermoor including unemployment and social housing.
